Low-Interest Loans
Interested in saving money AND saving energy? Northern Plains Electric Cooperative offers a variety of low-interest loans to qualifying members:
Electric Heating and Water Heater Loans
Northern Plains offers to our members five-percent interest loans for up to seven years and up to $5,000 on the purchase and installation of energy efficient electric heating and cooling systems, and electric water heating systems. But our members probably like our weatherization program best--for we finance all kinds of projects that will increase energy efficiency in your home or business. Replacing doors and windows and adding insulation--these are some of the examples of weatherization projects that are eligible for financing! This program, the Energy and Resource Conservation program (or ERC program) is just an example of our efforts to bring you the power of human connections!
