Position Open:
Electrical Engineer

Position Location:
Carrington, ND

General
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, overcurrent protection, voltage regulation, load balancing, planning, and troubleshooting of the Cooperative’s electric power distribution system. Additionally, this position will assist with the Cooperative’s AMI system and the supporting communication infrastructure. 

This position is a full-time position and offers a benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid holidays, and vacation days.

Supervisor
Reports to Engineering Manager. 

Education and Experience
Must be working towards or currently have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from accredited university.  Valid driver’s license required.  

Essential and Physical Functions
Must have sufficient physical health to perform the essential functions, duties and responsibilities of the job.  Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.  Must be able to do the following: Stoop, kneel, crouch, type on a keyboard, walk for long distances, walk on rough terrain, and sit for extended periods.
