This winter has dropped an enormous amount of snow for this time of year.  Please take special precautions while moving snow as there may be underground power facilities such as transformers and cabinets below the snow. If there are any questions on location of these facilities, please call 811 to have them marked.  Collisions between snowplows and power equipment can damage plows and vehicles, create electrical shock hazards to the snowplow operators and general public, and cause power outages. 
           If a cabinet is damaged, call our office to report it (1-800-882-2500), if there is a dangerous situation, call 911 first.
